Drive Innovation in Aviation ElectronicsPDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aviation organization to hire a skilled Electrical Engineer supporting avionics test engineering. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the reliability and performance of complex electronic systems that keep aircraft flying safely and efficiently.

What You’ll DoAs part of the avionics test engineering team, you will:
- Provide debug and repair support for test assemblies, fixtures, and electronic systems
- Perform inspection and verification of Interface Test Adapters (ITA), fixtures, and integrated rack systems
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Build, repair, and inspect cable harnesses, ensuring continuity and quality standards
- Assemble and inspect electronic components on PCBs, connectors, and systems
- Troubleshoot circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and related hardware
- Ensure all work meets specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to support manufacturing and testing processes
- Apply strong attention to detail while following written and verbal instructions
What You BringRequired Qualifications- High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent 2-year technical training)
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in:
- Debugging and repairing test assemblies, fixtures, cables, or CCAs
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering documentation
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications- Degree or coursework in electronics or engineering technology
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or lab environments
- Knowledge of:
- Cable and connector construction (multi-pin preferred)
- Soldering tools, materials, and best practices
- IPC certification for cable inspection (a plus)
- Experience with panel building, fixture construction, and rack integration
- Strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Familiarity with health and safety standards

Pay Details: $55.96 per hour
