Position OverviewJob Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Clearwater, FL
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST, 4/10 Schedule)
Duration: 12-Month Full-Time Consultant Role
Pay Rate: $32.00 – $43.00/hour
In this role, you will design and refine manufacturing systems for complex assemblies, directly supporting production operations and continuous improvement efforts. Your expertise will ensure efficiency, compliance, and product excellence in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)- Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to translate design into production-ready processes
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to implement product and process improvements
- Support the production floor, working closely with operations teams to resolve issues and optimize performance
- Design, procure, and implement manufacturing tooling and equipment
- Integrate inspection and test requirements into manufacturing plans
- Evaluate performance of machinery, tools, and processes, initiating corrective actions when needed
- Ensure all processes meet quality, regulatory, and safety standards
- Provide engineering input on design concepts and specifications to ensure manufacturability
What You BringRequired Qualifications- Experience in manufacturing engineering or general assembly (1–2+ years)
- Proficiency with blueprint reading and interpretation
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs and navigate production environments (including stairs)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cable harness assembly and process writing
- Background in CCA/module assembly in aerospace or electronics manufacturing
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies

Pay Details: $32.00 to $43.00 per hour
